My Son, My Hero

Regret for not updating this blog, was busy with other commitment. However, life with son still goes on and yes, we still have our ups and downs.

Recently, our house was broken into, no casualty save for some financial losses. Took place in broad daylight with much activities in the vicinity.

My son showed much fortitude and common sense while I was completely the opposite. Upon seeing my house door ajar, I jumped down from my car with the engine running and dashed into the house without a second thought. No strategy, no protection. Son tried to restrain me and cautioned me that the house might still be occupied. His grip on my hand was firm and he forced himself  to stand between me and the house. I must have looked disoriented and he sensed the need to be in control.

In hindsight, I can't help but feel proud that Son reacted in such manner without hesitation. Exerting his machosim? No, definitely not, it's a son's act of love.
